Lt. David J.  Eckenrode, "B" Co. 7th Engineers, was killed by enemy action on July 23, 1968.
Lt. Eckenrode was from Bellefonte Pa. and 22 years old at the time of his death.
Lt. Eckenrode is honored on the Vietnam Veterans Memorial on Panel 51W, Row 25.
